Is it safe to use my Credit Card on A1Darts.com?
The short answer is yes. The details of how we ensure your security can be a bit more confusing
but are still important.
Once you enter the purchase process on our site all communications
between your computer and ours is done using the industry standard for encrypted communications.
This standard or "Protocol" is called Secure Socket Layer or SSL for short. You can tell when
it is being used by looking at the URL at the top of your browser, if it starts with HTTPS rather
than HTTP you can be assured that communications are being encrypted.
Once your information is on our server it is stored in our order processing system. The system we use
is one of the best in the industry. Updates are made to our system on a regular basis to implement
the newest security features as they become available.
The precautions we take allow you to shop
A1Darts.com with peace of mind that your personal information is being handled with great care.
What forms of payment do you accept?

What is the difference between Brass, Nickle and Tungsten Darts?
The important difference where darts are concerned is their strength. The stronger the metal,
the slimmer the dart can be and the easier it is to group them together for high scores. Tungsten is
the strongest metal followed by Nickle and then Brass.
I'm looking for a gift, what should I buy?
Selecting darts for someone else can be a bit tricky. The first thing to
consider is their playing level, are they beginners or experts? If they are
beginners and don't have any equipment you may want to consider buying a complete
set. Sets typically include a board and darts and may include additional accessories.
We offer a variety of sets that you may want to consider.
If you are shopping for someone with more experience playing darts or who already has a set and
is looking to upgrade, he or she may be looking for a specific dart set. For these people we
recommend considering an A1Darts.com gift certificate.
Our gift certificates are available in electronic and paper form and are good for a full
year after their purchase date.
I'm a new player what do I need?
To get started you don't need much. Basically, a board and a set of darts (although you
may want two sets and have some friends over). The biggest decision you have to make is
whether to purchase Steel Tip or Soft Tip darts. Steel Tips are more traditional but Soft
Tips have become very popular in the last few years. Soft tips are also a little less expensive
to get started with. If you don't have any equipment, take a look at our complete set section
for everything you need to get started.
